Sardis Exposed: When a Church Appears Alive but Is Dead

The message from Revelation 3:1–6; about the Church in Sardis: a congregation with a reputation for life but spiritually dead. Jesus rebukes their empty deeds, urges vigilance, and calls them to repent, wake up and strengthen what remains.

Yet there is hope for the faithful remnant—those who remain undefiled will walk in white, receive Christ’s promise of eternal life, and be confessed before the Father. The episode is both a warning to those without life in Christ and a call to revival to those that are His.
